Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SolvePLO ("the Service"), available at solveplo.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
SolvePLO is an educational poker training tool that provides precomputed game-theory-optimal (GTO) strategies for Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) poker. The Service displays solver-generated data in a browser-based interface for study and practice purposes.
SolvePLO is not a gambling platform. We do not facilitate, host, or promote real-money poker play. The Service is strictly an educational and analytical tool intended to help players study poker strategy.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
4. Subscription and Billing
SolvePLO offers a free tier and paid subscription plans:
- Free tier: Limited access to the Service at no cost, with no expiration and no credit card required.
- Core (Monthly): Billed monthly at the rate displayed on the pricing page. Renews automatically each month until cancelled.
- Core (Annual): Billed annually at a discounted rate. Renews automatically each year until cancelled.
All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain full access to your paid plan through the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
Refunds
If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of a new subscription, contact us at legal@solveplo.app for a full refund. After 7 days, refunds are not available, but you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose: personal study and analysis of PLO poker strategy. You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
- Redistribute, resell, or publicly share solver data, strategy outputs, or any content obtained from the Service
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying data, algorithms, or infrastructure of the Service
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access the Service through your account
- Use the Service to develop a competing product
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service, including but not limited to solver data, strategy visualizations, hand categorizations, preflop charts, articles, interface design, and software code, is the intellectual property of SolvePLO or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial study purposes. This license does not grant you ownership of any content or data.
7. Disclaimer
SolvePLO provides game-theory-optimal strategies for educational purposes. The Service is not gambling advice. We do not guarantee that using the Service will improve your poker results, increase your winnings, or lead to profitable play. Poker outcomes depend on many factors beyond GTO strategy, including opponent tendencies, variance, bankroll management, and mental game.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SolvePLO and its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
