Everything You Need to Study PLO

SolvePLO is a complete PLO GTO study platform built from MonkerSolver data. Here's every feature and why it matters for your game.

Complete Coverage

All 1,755 Isomorphic Flops

There are exactly 1,755 strategically distinct flop textures in PLO when you account for suit isomorphism. SolvePLO has precomputed GTO solutions for every single one.

This isn't a marketing number — it's a mathematical fact. Other tools cover a subset. The most popular alternative covers 420 board textures, meaning over 75% of strategically distinct flops are missing from their database.

Why it matters

When the board you want isn't available, you're forced to approximate. But in PLO, small differences in board texture produce dramatically different strategies. With SolvePLO, the exact board is always there.

Instant

Precomputed Solutions. Zero Wait.

Every GTO solution in SolvePLO is precomputed and stored. When you select a board, the strategy loads in milliseconds. No solver running in the background, no queue, no "please wait."

MonkerSolver ran every simulation, and we parsed and indexed the results into an optimized binary format. The heavy computation happened once. You get the results instantly, forever.

Why it matters

A 30-second wait for each new board kills your momentum. With SolvePLO, switching between boards is instantaneous. Review 50 or 100 flops in a single session without losing your train of thought.

Streaming Turn and River Solutions

SolvePLO doesn't stop at the flop. For every flop in the database, navigate to any turn card and see the updated GTO strategy. Continue to the river for the final street solution. The full game tree is available.

Turn and river solutions are streamed on demand from precomputed binary data. Click a turn card and the strategy loads in under a second.

Why it matters

The correct turn strategy often diverges significantly from the flop. Understanding how strategy evolves across streets is essential. With the Core plan, full street navigation is included — no add-ons.

Practice / Quiz Mode

Reading GTO solutions is one thing. Executing them is another. Practice mode bridges that gap by quizzing you on random hands from any spot in the database.

Choose a scenario — pot type, position, stack depth, board texture, or street. SolvePLO deals you a random hand and asks you to select the correct action. After you choose, it reveals the solver's strategy with the full frequency breakdown.

Configure practice sessions to focus on your weak spots. Drill 3-bet pot play on wet boards, or focus on river decisions. The practice adapts to what you need.

Why it matters

Passive study builds knowledge but not skill. Practice mode creates the repetitions needed to convert intellectual understanding into automatic decision-making at the table.

Aggregate View

Board Browser

View all 1,755 flop textures in a single scrollable list, each showing its aggregate action frequency bar. At a glance, see which boards are high-frequency betting boards and which favor checking.

Filter by high card, suit texture, or exclude specific cards. Sort by betting frequency. An overview graph shows average frequencies across all displayed boards.

Why it matters

Understanding patterns across boards is transformative. When you see that the solver bets 80%+ on all paired boards but only 40% on disconnected rainbow boards, you've learned a principle that applies to every session.

Smart Grouping

Hand Categorization System

PLO has over 16,000 unique starting hand combinations. SolvePLO groups hands into strategically meaningful categories: flush draws, blockers, connectivity, made hand strength, and backdoor potential.

Categories follow a hierarchy. Top-level groups like "Nut Flush Draw" or "Blocker, No Draw" show aggregate action frequencies. Expand any category to see sub-categories or individual combos.

The system adapts to board texture — on suited boards it prioritizes flush draw status; on rainbow boards it emphasizes backdoor flush draws; on monotone boards it focuses on made flush strength.

Why it matters

You don't memorize individual combos. You learn "nut flush draws bet at high frequency on suited boards with one high card." The category system teaches you principles that translate directly to real play.

Visual

Action Frequency Visualization

Every hand category, board, and decision point displays a color-coded action frequency bar. Green for check/call, red for bets and raises. The width of each segment corresponds to that action's frequency.

At the board level, see the overall frequency. At the hand category level, see how specific groups diverge from the aggregate. Some categories show pure strategies (95%+), others show close splits.

Why it matters

Visual frequency bars let you process strategy data faster than reading numbers. When you scroll through categories and see a wall of green suddenly interrupted by bright red, you immediately notice the deviation. Focus on the spots where precision matters most.

4-Card PLO

Full PLO4 Support. PLO5 Coming Soon.

SolvePLO currently offers full solutions for 4-card Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO4), with complete preflop through river coverage across all 1,755 flop boards.

PLO5 (5-card PLO) support is actively in development and coming soon. When it launches, PLO5 will be included in the Core plan at no additional cost.

Why it matters

PLO5 is the fastest-growing poker variant with softer player pools. When our PLO5 data launches, Core subscribers will get immediate access — giving you a significant edge over opponents studying PLO5 without solver data.

Genuinely Useful Free Tier

SolvePLO's free tier is not a 7-day trial. It's a permanent, fully functional plan:

  • 100bb preflop ranges for all positions in 6-max
  • 5 postflop boards per day (any of the 1,755 flops)
  • Basic hand categorization view
  • No credit card required
  • No expiration

The preflop ranges alone are genuinely valuable — GTO-solved opening, 3-bet, and calling ranges for every seat.

Why it matters

The biggest barrier to trying a new poker tool is risk. The free tier eliminates that entirely. Start free, evaluate the data quality and interface, and upgrade only when you're ready.

Mobile-Responsive Design

SolvePLO is a responsive web application. Desktop, laptop, tablet, phone — no app store download, no software installation. Open your browser, log in, and study.

On desktop, you get full-width board browsers and side-by-side strategy panels. On mobile, the layout stacks vertically with touch-friendly controls. Same data, optimized for your device.

Why it matters

Poker study happens in odd moments — waiting for a table, on break, commuting. If your study tool only works on desktop, those moments go to waste. SolvePLO is wherever your phone is.

Three Depths

Multiple Stack Depths

Solutions for 50bb (short-stack play and 3-bet pots), 100bb (standard cash game depth), and 200bb (deep-stacked play and 4-bet scenarios). The correct GTO strategy changes significantly with effective stack depth.

A hand that's a mandatory bet at 200bb may be a clear check at 50bb. Shorter stacks mean less maneuverability, wider value ranges, and tighter bluffing frequencies.

Why it matters

PLO cash games regularly feature effective stacks from 40bb to 200bb+. Having all three depths lets you directly compare how strategy shifts — one of the most instructive exercises in poker study.

50bb Short stack / 3-bet pots
100bb Standard cash game
200bb Deep stack / 4-bet pots
Accurate

Rake-Adjusted Solutions

All postflop solutions are computed with rake applied, matching standard online poker room structures. Rake significantly affects GTO strategy, especially in single-raised pots at lower stakes.

Rake makes the pot smaller, which makes marginal calls less profitable and shifts the equilibrium toward tighter play. A solution without rake will tell you to call in spots where the correct strategy is to fold.

Why it matters

Every real poker game has rake. SolvePLO's solutions reflect the games you're actually playing, with rake structures calibrated to standard online conditions — not a theoretical rake-free environment.
